¡hola!

about me.
I am Cosette, a Mexican designer, anthropologist & biochemist.
I’m currently working on communication and image projects with the LABA Valencia team.

design
In the artistic and creative field, my work has been recognised in public digital art calls, with pieces exhibited in public spaces across various Spanish cities. I took part in the curatorial team of the group exhibition Miradas y recorridos íntimos, as part of the Festival 10 Sentidos (Valencia), where I also presented two video art pieces, and in Portraits of lives as a curator, and showcasing an interactive artist's diary.

anthropology
I focused on the study of human behaviour through anthropological fieldwork, with a particular emphasis on lies and the phenomenology of self-deception, approached from the philosophy of science. I initiated a line of research centred on “women as emitters of violence,” combining anthropological and cognitive perspectives, and I participated as a speaker at national and international forums.

biochemistry
I have a background in scientific research. I was part of National Institute of Psychiatry (Mexico), one of the leading institutions in Latin America in the field of mental health. There, I took part in projects on neurochemistry, the neurophysiology of addiction, and forensic mental health.
My work involved handling medical-grade radioactive materials, contributing to interdisciplinary research, and co-authoring scientific publications and specialised book chapters.
